In the depths of sorrow’s grip, I tread,
Through mists of grief, my path is led.
From anger’s flame to acceptance’ glow,
I journey on, though the way is slow.

Life’s twists and turns, its bitter sting,
Teach lessons harsh, yet wisdom bring.
For in the heartache, we come to learn,
That some bridges burn, and some hearts yearn.

A father’s shadow, a fading light,
Once strong and sure, now lost to night.
Regrets and fears, they intertwine,
In the tapestry of memories, they entwine.

A journey’s end, a soul’s release,
From earthly bounds, it finds its peace.
Yet questions linger, in silent air,
Of paths untrod, and burdens to bear.

The weight of truth, it pulls me down,
As whispers of epigenetics resound.
In therapy’s embrace, I feel him near,
His presence felt, his spirit clear.

Though his journey’s done, his legacy lives on,
In lessons learned, in battles won.
And as I navigate this winding road,
I carry his memory, a cherished load.
